Controversies & Advances in the Treatment of Cardiovsacular Disease is a two-day scientific program hosted by Cedars-Sinai annually. The conference offers realistic views on many controversial issues in cardiovascular disease today. Session topics include imaging, hypertension, stem cells, heart failure, coronary artery disease, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, mitral valve disease, and cardioembolic stroke.
Sessions include a combination of debates, keynote lectures, crossfires, and round table discussions. A faculty of internationally known leaders in the field has been invited to share their knowledge and experiences with complex and controversial cases.The conference is designed for cardiologists, cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons, interventional cardiologists, perfusionists, ICU nurses, technicians and those involved in the diagnosis, treatment, care care of individuals with controversial and complex cases of cardiac disease.
